IT'S OUR HERITAGE!

The Raby Estate is currently undertaking a major redevelopment project known as The Rising. This ambitious restoration includes the transformation of three heritage buildings, the addition of two new structures, and the creation of a visionary walled garden—all designed to preserve Raby’s rich legacy while enhancing its appeal for future generations.

To support this landmark project, Pop Up Power Supplies® provided a number of PUPS01 retractable power units. These retractable units offer a flexible and discreet solution for providing outdoor electrical power—ideal for both regular estate use and public events.

These units are perfect for heritage sites like Raby, where visual impact must be kept to a minimum. Traditional generators are not appropriate in these settings—they’re noisy, polluting, and visually intrusive. In contrast, Pop Up Power Units offer a clean and convenient way to supply power during events without compromising the integrity of the space.

World heritage and historic locations demand solutions that complement their setting. This is why Raby Castle specified these particular units— ensuring that power can be delivered effectively, while maintaining the aesthetic and cultural value of the estate.

Pop Up Power Supplies Ltd® provides retractable power units and service bollards for many prestigious sites throughout the UK, including Edinburgh Castle, Chiswick House, and the University of Exeter.
