Because our In-ground units operate with the lid locked down, with only the power cable protruding, the potential for damage is minimised.

In-ground units can be used in smaller spaces to supply outdoor power and telephone connection. They have a double locking lid and can be operated with the lid locked down. The lids are raised manually and are gas strut assisted.

  • Cover in stainless steel, recessed to fill with matching surface finish, or closed; cover size 570 x 570mm opening facilitated by a pivot partially pull-out from the lid surface, and a dual gas actuator.
  • Overall depth of unit 550mm. Operates with the cover closed and with plug inserted (max 1 x 63A), through a special rubber door for cable outlet.
  • Cover secured in closed position by safety bayonet lock in bronze, with lever lock in stainless steel AISI 304 operated with key (square footprint).
  • Removable stainless steel plate for electrical equipment support (provision for grounding in this case).
