Pop Up Power Sponsored Athlete Evie Mitchell Selected for Great Britain

When Pop Up Power first began supporting young judo athlete Evie Mitchell, she was already turning heads — a talented teenager with a work ethic far beyond her years. Since then, Evie has gone from strength to strength, and we are absolutely delighted to share her latest and most significant achievement yet.

Evie Mitchell has been selected to represent Great Britain at the 2026 Cadet European Championships Squad (age 15 to 18 years category), taking place in Gran Canaria, Spain from 29 June to 2 July. Competing in the -57kg category for The Parks JC, Evie has earned her place on the Cadet squad through a highly competitive selection process across both domestic and international events and it is thoroughly deserved. 

This season alone, Evie has demonstrated exactly why she is considered one of the leading athletes in her weight category. She claimed silver at the Porec Cadet European Cup in Croatia, her first Cadet European medal and holds both the British Championships and Scottish Open titles. These are not just impressive results for someone her age. They are impressive results, full stop.

Watching Evie compete is to watch someone who genuinely loves what she does. The dedication, the travel, the training camps, the early mornings and the long journeys. She takes all of it in her stride because her goal is clear. She wants to represent her country at the highest level, and she is doing exactly that.
