We are all here in the UK excited to see the return to tennis! There has never been a better time to get back on court. Post Covid, tennis provides the perfect opportunity to get a socially distanced healthy outdoor workout. Keeping us all crucially both mentally and physically fit.

The game has accelerated greatly over recent years and many courts now feature Smart Technology allowing the game to be tracked digitally alongside the players performance.
Initially developed for officiating matches, Smart technology is now commonplace for both training grounds and for coaching applications. There are many different products on the market and coaches are increasingly searching for more productive ways to use the technology available. In Ground Power Units were supplied for installation within the Members lawn area of the club.

The units were required to provide audio and video connections for the huge media presence that arrives each and every year but can also be a useful addition for many other uses that require power. The Units supplied in this case were specially built and are discreetly positioned beneath the decking that surrounds the lawn. Each unit has a recessed cover that contains a section of the decking that allows it to be neatly hidden when not in use. The units chosen were in-ground retractable power units which are ideal for the site requirements. Each power unit provides a safe, secure and silent source of electricity that can be.

The range of In Ground Power Units, or Flip Lid Units are an extremely safe and flexible option for power. Each power unit benefits from a secure lockable lid. This prevents public access and increases safety. Only the cables protrude from the power unit. The cables will be covered by cable protectors which also reduces any hazard. The durable, easy to use units are designed to provide power and other services when you need them, but are hidden when you don’t. They are ideal for use in public areas as their design minimises the potential for damage and they operate with the lid locked down with only the power cable protruding.

Pop Up Power Supplies® offers a range of six in ground units, from the Slim 250mm unit, right up to the 700mm x 500mm PUPS02 – 7050-for providing total power of up to 125 amps. All feature recessed covers to accept paving or other types of surface to achieve a seamless visual result.
